What is Bonded Leather?

Bonded leather, also referred to as blended leather, is a manmade fabric.  With a polyurethane face that emulates the look and feel of leather, bonded leather has natural fibers adhered to the backside of the fabric, giving it a thicker feel.  Natural leather fibers account for approximately 20% of most bonded leathers with the balance of materials being synthetic.
